IDEAL 4205 A3 Manual Guillotine

The IDEAL 4205 is a manual operated office guillotine for cutting sheets up to A3 in format safely and accurately. It is a bench-top machine and has the option of a matched stand. All operations, from setting the cutting height, positioning the back gauge to changing the cutting blade are designed for ease of use. Transparent hoods over the front and rear tables and a safety catch for the blade lever are designed to eliminate risk of accidents. All metal construction, hardened steel blade guides and a knife made of cutlery grade Solingen steel, produce a guillotine which will be accurate and reliable for many years

Information - Operators The safety features on the IDEAL 4205, including transparent safety guard which locks during cutting on the front table, transparent guard on the rear table, safety catch to lock the blade lever in its upper position, make the guillotine easy and reliable to operate. A calibrated hand crank with a large easy to read scale allows accurate position of the back gauge while sidelays from solid aluminium enable precise alignment of the paper stack to be cut. A fast flick action clamp grips the paper during the cutting step. The knife change tool is designed with safety uppermost and the changeover can be carried out from the front of the machine. Likewise access to the cutting stick is from the outside of the machine.
