D&K Proteus B1 Laminator

Now available from Glendale we have this full factory refurbished D&K Proteus B1 Laminator. This automatic laminator has been through a full overhaul and is in perfect working condition. Many new parts have been factory fitted. Capable of lamination B1 portrait of B2 landscape print at speeds up to 30 metres per minute.

The Proteus laminator is a complete production line for single-sided laminating; unique in its class due to its compact design. Designed for very demanding users, Proteus laminates sheets up to B1 format in portrait orientation at speeds of up to  30 m/min. B2 formats can be laminated in landscape to further increase productivity. Convenience of operation is ensured not only by the compact design, but also, for example, by a feeder with a ’run-to-ground’ option for pallet feeding or integrated control via a touchscreen operator panel. 

The following parts have been REFURBISHED or REPLACED:

- all shafts (reconditioning of rubber rollers) including pivots,

- cylinder coating reconditioned,

- actuators - new and re-manufactured,

- new chains and sprockets,

- new drive transmission,

- new suction cup actuators and head components,

- new covers and mechanical protection elements (in line with current standards),

- new electronic safety module,

- re-anodized or galvanized used mechanical components,

- heating oil changed.
