Now available from Glendale we have this Ex-Demonstration D&K Neptune B3 Laminator. This model has automatic feed and sheet separation. Also included are the optional foil unit for digital foiling and UV finishes and is supplied with castors, both of which are optional extras. As you would expect with a ex-demo model, it's in 'like new' condition with a extremely low sheet count of less than 2000. The Neptune is a fully automatic laminator for sheets up to B3 in size. It is the perfect solution for any printing business that wishes to laminate in-house to meet quick turnaround demands. The digital foil capabilities allow for extra revenue streams from eye catching personalisation. Compact and easy to use, the Neptune is designed for the print-on-demand market. Its features make it equally adept at running both digital and lithographic output. Running with automatic feed and separation, at speeds of 15 minutes per minute, make for a fast turnaround of workload. The automatic suction feeder offers a 500mm deep pile for longer print runs and is easily adjustable for a variety of different sheet sizes. The infeed roller presents lightweight and digital output to the laminating nip rollers where a missing sheet detector helps to prevent unwanted wraparounds. The Mitsubishi centralised control panel offers ease of operation. The sheet count, sheet size, temperature, running speed and separation are all located on the digital display. The positioning of the perforator overcomes any potential issues caused by poor film roll profiles and allows greater speed and decurl angles minimising web breakage. The decurl bar, which may be altered on the run, is fitted to assist in giving a flat result, even on thinner stocks. The electronically adjustable burster automatically separates sheets up to B3 size whilst fans provide a cushion of air to support the sheet as it is delivered into the catch tray. This improves the quality of the lamination finish to the printed media. This model also accommodates digital foiling/sleeking and full or spot UV type jobs to be produced, making this model an even more attractive option.
