Environmentally friendly and with our unique curing process, this coating machine adds value to your printed sheet at a fraction of the cost of traditional laminating. UV Coating is widely considered as being a more environmentally friendly alternative to lamination as virtually no waste is produced in the production process. Unlike laminated stocks, which normally should be treated as plastic waste, UV coated stocks can be disposed of, or recycled as normal printed paper would be. UV Coating is rapidly being adopted as a means to enhance, protect and add value to your digital and litho printed documents. The application of a UV Varnish can be used enhance the print quality, making colours appear richer and more vivid, as well as offering protection for documents being frequently handled. The DigiCoater Pro LED & Cold UV coaters have removed the risk involved with high temperature conventional UV coaters, eliminating the risk of scorching any substrates. The ‘sleep mode’ brings the power consumption of the lamps down by 70%. All unpleasant odours on the substrate or the machine are eliminated. The large diameter rollers and optional fluid pre-heating provide a superior finish. Once coated, the stock is delivered at room temperature – so there is limited distortion or shrinkage of the sheets.
