Duplo 350 SCC Digital Booklet System

The Duplo SCC (slit-cut-crease) unit is now available with the DBM350/T to create a new mid-range system; the 350 SCC Digital Booklet System. The SCC unit, sit’s in between the DSF-2200 and the DBM-350 and will allow inline slitting (head and foot), creasing (in the middle of the sheet, to prevent cracking) and lead and tail edge cross-knife cutting. Additional accuracy is achieved by using the built-in registration mark. This near-line system will be particularly interesting for digital printers who are looking for high quality finished booklets to go alongside their mid-range printing engine. Also, when more than one digital press is in use, this independent booklet making line will enable them to run a wide range of booklet application from different sources. From one PC controller, the press operator will be able to run the entire line.
